It is with profound sadness that Arthurlie Football Club announces the passing of our beloved Club Treasurer, Ger Lafferty, who sadly passed away early this evening.

Ger’s association with Arthurlie spanned many years, and throughout that time he gave so much of himself to the club. His unwavering dedication, hard work, generosity, and commitment behind the scenes helped keep the club moving forward, and his contribution to Arthurlie cannot be overstated. More than a committee member, Ger was a valued friend whose presence, kindness, and support touched so many within our football family.

Everyone connected with Arthurlie Football Club is devastated by this loss, and Ger will be deeply missed by players, staff, volunteers, supporters, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Our thoughts and heartfelt condolences are with all of Ger’s family and friends at this incredibly difficult time.
