Lie Late Late Show 

The Lie were back in pre-season action for the final time before the start of the new league season, as we faced Glenvale at Dunterlie.

The home side started the game brightly, and this good start was rewarded as we opened the scoring through Ewan MacPherson. The Lie then looked to double their advantage. However, it was the visitors who found the equaliser, which saw us go in at the half-time break level at 1-1.

Throughout the second half, Arthurlie looked to get back in front; however, it was the visitors who took the lead late on. The home side did not let the setback dampen their spirits as they found the equaliser through an own goal from a resulting corner. The home side had momentum on their side and found the winner as Ben Daily latched on to another corner delivery. 

 

Next up for The Lie is the start of a new  West of Scotland Premier Division campaign as we face Hurlford United on Saturday at Dunterlie with  kick off at 2 pm, so why not come down and support the boys.
