Arthurlie Media caught up with Club Captain Gary Carroll after Yesterday’s Game: “Looking back on yesterdays game, we didn’t play anywhere near our best throughout the game. I think our month long break over Christmas was evident, our match sharpness and tempo to our play wasn’t up to our usual standard.

“The state of the pitch didn’t help our situation, it was really heavy on the legs but we managed to dig in and ride our luck with scooby making a few excellent saves at crucial times in the game to get the 3 points required, which at the end of the day is all that matters going into the second half of the season.

“We just need to take the positives from the game and get ourselves back in for a hard week of training this week to return to fighting form for a challenging run of games coming up.Finally the management and playes are looking forward to playing back at Dunterlie -Hope to see as many fans as possible cheering us on”
